Terms & Conditions
This is a summary of our Terms and Conditions. Full terms and conditions will be sent as part of the booking confirmation.
No contract comes into existence until we have confirmed acceptance of your booking which will not be until you have given full disclosure as required by these terms, together with your Owner and Pet Profile Forms, Veterinary Release form and any supplemental written information required by us, and have verified that you have understood and agreed to be bound by them. Once a booking is confirmed, we will either charge you on site at the “meet and greet” or send you a confirmation email of your booking with a request for payment.
You will be responsible for providing;

all the information necessary for the provision of our services, including any behavioural, dietary, medical or exercise requirements of your pet.

all the necessary provisions needed for the care of your pet. This includes (but is not limited to) a suitable lead, collar and identity tag, sufficient dry food to last them the duration of your time away, and for home visits food bowl, hay, fresh fruit and vegetables, water bottle or bowl with access to a tap for fresh water, secure housing, fresh bedding, cat litter, and suitable cleaning equipment (including bin bags and paper towels) and the location thereof.

evidence of your dog’s and rabbit’s up-to-date vaccinations.

house keys and any alarm codes necessary for access to your house and your pet.

details of a responsible person who will be available to make decisions in your absence about your home, pet and property, including, if necessary, the provision of replacement keys if the ones provided are inoperative.
We will;
-
complete a brief health check on your pet upon arrival or collection from your home. We will not be able to provide our services to any pet seen to have any signs of undisclosed injury, illness, or disease that could put other animals at risk. You will be liable for half of the full fee in any event.

take the utmost care of your pet, ensuring its safety and welfare whilst in our care in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner at the price advertised on the Hare B&B website, acting at all times as your agent.

keep all keys and remote control entry devices, safe, and access codes and personal information secure and confidential, and agree to return all items at the end of the agreement or immediately upon demand.

transport your pet to your designated vet (or to any local veterinary practice if your designated vet is unavailable) if we cannot contact you or your responsible person and your pet requires veterinary care. You authorise Hare B&B to make any necessary decisions (acting on the advice of a qualified veterinary surgeon) regarding the health of your pet.

use our best endeavours to clean up if your pet has soiled your home. If the cleaning required is in excess of usual expectations, we may charge for the extra time involved.

We will not be liable for:

The cost of any veterinary fees (and related fees) or replacement keys and you agree to indemnify us and reimburse those fees (if we have had to incur them) immediately upon notification.

The cost of any medical expenses and/or damages resulting from an injury to persons or animals, or damage to property, caused by your pet whether as the result of defective equipment provided by you or otherwise.

Any accidental injury to, or illness or death of, your pet, during its time with us.

Any accidental or other loss or damage caused to your home or the pet’s bedding, toys or other equipment whilst your pet is left alone.

The loss of any pet if they have access to an open cat flap/window/door within their own home, or if their housing is faulty or damaged in any way.

The cost of any grooming expenses resulting from matting that occurs during your pet's stay. Whilst we will try and groom your pet if requested, we cannot guarantee that this is always possible.

Any pets’ pregnancies discovered after staying at Hare B&B as all animals are housed in separate living accommodation and playtime is always in separate allocated areas.

Any damage to or losses suffered by you or any other person having lawful access to your home, whether caused wilfully (for example, but not limited to, burglary or damage) during the life of this contract and you agree to indemnify us against any such damage or losses, and whilst we have public liability insurance, it is your responsibility to ensure that your property, its contents and your pet are adequately insured throughout the duration of our care.

Payment
Pet Hotel/Home Visit

For all holidays falling within the usual school summer holiday period (six weeks from mid-late July through all of August), if booking in advance, a deposit of 20% is payable to secure your required dates. An invoice for the remaining balance will be sent a week prior to using our services and payment must be made by the due date (this will always be the day before we commence our provision of services). Payment is by bank transfer (the details of which we will send with your booking confirmation), or by card payment via a secure link.

If booking in the week prior to using our services, you will be invoiced for the full amount and payment must be made in full via bank transfer or a secure online link, no later than the day before we commence our provision of services.

Cancellation Policy
Pet Hotel/Home Visit

For cancellations with more than 28 days' notice, your deposit will be refunded and you will not be charged any further fees.

For cancellations with less than 28 days' notice, no refund is available, but you will not be charged with the remaining balance.

If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, or are turned away because of an undisclosed health condition, you will be liable for half of the full cost of the provision of care and if applicable, the pet taxi service cost (at the discretion of Hare B&B).

If you collect your pet earlier than disclosed, return home earlier than planned, or no longer require our services, you will still be liable for the full boarding costs unless we can fill the vacant space or slot.​

Should any animal, particularly dogs, become aggressive or dangerous at any time, Hare B&B may terminate this agreement with immediate effect.

If a customer is late on numerous occasions, Hare B&B reserves the right to cancel all future bookings.
If for any reason, Hare B&B has to cancel your booking, we will give you at least 48 hours notice and all advance payments (including deposit) will be refunded.
Force Majeure- The cancellation policies described may not apply in the event of certain emergency situations beyond the control of the dog owner or Hare B&B such as earthquakes, fire, flood, riots or other similar disaster or widespread illness to pets or people not limited to Covid-19.
Miscellaneous

We are a small business and cannot guarantee that extension of your pet’s stay or care will be granted or that we will be able to change the time or day of your dog's walk once it has been agreed.

We reserve the right to charge an additional fee if we have to purchase extra items because you have not provided sufficient supplies for the provision of our services.

Time of arrival and collection for the pet hotel must be provided when booking and must be adhered to in order to ensure we only have one human customer on our premises at any one time. If you cannot make these times or are running late, please phone us and a new time will be arranged. We ask that you please try and stick to the times that have been arranged.
Your Privacy
We treat your privacy with the utmost importance. Full details of our privacy policy and the collection and use of your personal data are laid out in our Privacy Policy on our website. By using Hare B&B and agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are acknowledging that you have read and understood the privacy policy.
